This past summer, Reeb Millwork Northwest welcomed Building Science Expert Mark LaLiberte to the Portland and Seattle areas for a series of presentations covering a range of issues facing builders in today‘s economy. This is the second consecutive year that Reeb Millwork and Mark LaLiberte have teamed up to present vital industry information to area architects, designers, builders and dealers.
Mark LaLiberte has been teaching building industry professionals about the importance of incorporating building science and energy efficiency in their projects for over twenty years. The specific topics Mark focused on during his series of seminars in the Northwest included moisture and rain management, energy efficiency and green building. Attendees had a special opportunity to ask questions at the end of each presentation and left with solutions and strategies that can be put into practice today.
There were seven seminars held in Oregon over a three day period in July, and five held in Washington over two days in September. The size and content of these presentations ranged from VIP builder meetings with an audience of 15, to large events with an audience of 125 builders, architects, dealers and designers. Mark also talked with Reeb Territory Managers regarding builder and architect issues and concerns, as well as presentation hints and strategies.
These seminars were very well attended, reaching over 500 builders, designers, contractors and architects in the Northwest. Marvin and Integrity products, including SillGuard and the Ultimate Casement Collection featuring the new Douglas Fir species option were prominently displayed at every locale. TSMs and other Reeb personnel were on hand at each event to help answer any questions the attendees might ask.
